Show and business cards...

Okay, I did get through the show....whew! It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be - not alot of traffic, but maybe that was good since I completely felt nervous the whole time. I got to spend some time with the wonderful woman that makes my hairbows - I really enjoyed that and got a few orders and a little bit of interest on my stuff - I still need to post some pics, but first take a look a these cool business cards that Brandi Cameron (http://www.brandicameron.com/) did - they are so extremely cute!!!

Nervous!

Okay, I am doing my first show at Middle Tenn Christian School's Spring Fling tomorrow - I am very nervous - first of all, will I just be a complete bomb? Also, will people even like my things? I don't even know - luckily, I have my wonderful bow lady, Jean, coming to sell along with my wonderful embroidery lady, Demetra, coming along for the ride. My friend, Kim Wheeler (Small Words) has a couple of canvases that will be hung in there as well - so, maybe I'll get a little attention, we'll see! I'll post pictures soon.

Coming Soon....

On April 5th, I (along with a friend, Demetra Walden) am planning to have a booth at the Spring Fling which Middle Tennesse Christian School is hosting. I'll have all of the samples of my work there and hope to get a little business and take some orders! Jean Mayes, my wonderful bow lady, will have some of her bows there along with my new friend, Kim Wheeler, who will have a couple of her amazing canvasas hung in the booth. I'll post more pictures next week.

Tidbits

Just a few tidbits of what I have been doing so far.....

First time for everything

This is the first time I have done this and have always wanted to. I read various friends blogs and wish I had one....sooo....here goes.

Olivia Rose had surgery last week for tubes in her ears. This is honestly the break we have all been waiting for. She really is showing signs of feeling so much better. I have never been through this with any of my first three children, so I am quite uneducated, but learning along the way. She had her first bath last week since the surgery and wore her ear plugs - after a bit of a fight to get them in (if anyone has met this sassy little thing, you will know all about how stubborn she is) We are all so relieved that it is over with and even though I feel awful (I have a little bug right now) I can honestly say, life is pretty good in our house - amazing how much just one little peanut can rule the world around here!
